Veterans Day

Hello, bigfooters and fellow fans. Today, no Bigfoot happening. Today we're honoring the millions who died fighting in wars all over time and the world!

Veterans Day is an official United States public holiday, observed annually on November 11 (today), that honors military veterans, that is, people who served in the United States Armed Forces. But, more than the armed forces can be honored for serving in the many wars over the years. Like, Vietnam! My grandpa Pa served in that war. Sure, he was here in the U.S., but he still was part of it!

Today I'm not going to do a long blog post, because instead of being here, maybe we should be thinking about how lucky we are to be a live, and how thankful we are for everybody, forced or not, to serve in these wars which lead to two things: Surviving, or death.

So, let's go off and thank those we know for protecting us: Doctors, parents, siblings, veterans! Let's be thankful we're alive, and just remember those who died on the battle field. Now, bye, bigfooters, and a moment of silence...
