Happy Easter Blog Post and DIY Bigfoot/Easter Rice Krispie Treats Craft!
Hola, mi amigos y amigas! Kayleigh here with today's post. Might I say, HAPPY EASTER VIGIL!!!! I'm supah pumped since Easter is only one day away, as well as playing Minecraft, eating candy, and seeing my family! So, today I'm going to a do a Easter blog post on the holiday and its origins, as well as putting a Bigfooty twist on it, and a cool DIY (do it yourself) Bigfoot and Easter rice krispie treats craft! Alright, let's get started:
Easter is one of the most important Christian and Catholic, for some, holidays ever since it celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ after dying on the cross and rising from the dead. His death is "celebrated" on Good Friday, and he rises from the dead on Monday, but we celebrate on Easter Sunday. Besides getting sweets like chocolate bunnies, Easter is also important to many because of the religion behind it. But now, here is ways to put a bigfooty twist on Easter:
* Make Easter decor with Bigfoots by doing different crafts like hanging up this picture:
* Maybe the Easter bunny will get you crazy kids out there Bigfoot merch? You never know! (: (;
* Remember the Bigfoot shaped chocolate recipe I put on one of my posts? Do the same thing but with Easter colored chocolate! The perfect treat to give to your Bigfoot loving friends!
* Color Easter eggs Bigfoot-style and after have an outdoors Easter egg hunt! How fun!!!
Finally, for the craft!!!
DIY Bigfoot/Easter Rice Krispie Treats
Ingredients:
* Marchmellos
* Rice Krispie cereal
* Easter Sprinkles! (types vary, choose whatever you want (:)
* Butter (measurements vary depending on serving size, so whatever you want)
1. Make the treats, but make sure to put in your sprinkles as well (not in recipe). To learn how to make the dessert, you can follow this link to the Rice Krispie treats website:
http://www.ricekrispies.com/recipes/the-original-treats
2. After making the dessert with the added sprinkles, you can grab a cookie cutter (Bigfoot ones are best, otherwise this isn't very bigfooty) and cut the treats into shapes!
3. Done! Enjoy the treat, and for extra flare, put in some Easter m&ms too! (Optional)
I hope everybody enjoyed this blog post, and that they try the two recipes I gave you (chocolate feet from another post)! I also hope everybody has a great Easter and tells me about it with an email! Well, I have to go now. Have a Happy Easter, bigfooters! Good BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
