Bigfoots and Giants; Specifically Hagrid Similarities and Differences To Squatch
Hello, bigfooters! I hope everybody is having a great day, and that everyone is exicted that Easter is coming up! An Easter blog post will probably take place closer to the holiday, at the end of the month. But, today I have a real treat planned for everybody- maybe a chocolate frog or Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans? That's right, today I'm going to talk about... HARRY POTTER!!! Now, you may ask, what in the name of Dobby does this have to do with Bigfoot? Many things, I tell you. But today we're only focusing on one particular character... I'll give you a hint... "You're a wizard, Harry." Yes! Today we're going to talk about Rubeus Hagrid, the loveable friend of Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived.
Since I read the book series for the second time and went on J.K. Rowling's website, Pottermore, and found out my house (It's Ravenclaw!), I've become obsessed with the idea of wizards, muggles, and Ravenclaws. So I was very happy when my brother Ethan gave me the idea to do this blog post. Thanks, Bro! And now, for the post.
#1. Similarities!
Hagrid
* 7 ft tall (half giant on his mom's side)
* Has the BUSHIEST beard in the world
* I think he's a mammal... Right? (:
* Loves really weird things.... like, who thinks a giant, three-headed, smelly, pee-your-pants scary dog is cute and names it Fluffy?
* Can be aggresive, but is a real sweetheart inside. Just NEVER insult Dumbledore in front of him.
Bigfoot
* Can grow up to twelve feet tall... They make Hagrid look normal sized!
* Has hair ALL OVER their bodies.
* Is a mammal through and through.
* Thinks that Simon Says is really Bigfoot Acts. NO COPYCATS, PLEASE!!!
* Looks scary, can be scary, but is actually really gentle. Two negatives make a positive, right?
#2. Differences!
Hagrid
* Uses a dark pink umbrella as a weapon. Not very scary, but that umbrella doesn't just poke you.
* Lives in a hut on the edge of the Forbidden Forest at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
* Has a giant for a mom.
* Is a fictional character created by J.K. Rowling. But let's face it, everybody wishes Hagrid was real, right? Such a sweetheart!
Bigfoot
* Can rip you limb from limb. Still want to study them, do you?
* Lives all over the world, including England and the UK.
* Has a Yeti, Yeren, and Orang Pendek for cousins. Family gatherings must be pretty interesting at that home! (:
* THEY ARE REAL!!! DON'T DENY IT, OR I WILL LOOK LIKE A TOTAL FOOL!!! (Spoiler: I already am! HA HA HAHA!!!)
OK, I hope everybody liked the blog post about the awesome HAGRID! I bet whoever is reading this is thinking, I still don't get what Bigfoot has to do with this!!! Well, I guess besides some of the more normal blog posts, I'm just one of those people who looks more into the unthought. Who would ever even have the thought Hagrid from Harry Potter could be like Squatch? Nobody! Except me. Also, this blog updates what's happening in my life. I went on Pottermore, found out my house, which is the amazing Ravenclaw. So, yeah.
